A man's died after being hit by car in East Devon in the early hours of Sunday morning.
The 29-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene at Ware Cross near Lyme Regis at around 2.30am after being knocked over by a BMW.
The driver is a local 42-year-old man.
Police are appealing for any witnesses to this incident
