Henry Slade scores again for England

But it was Jonny May who stole the show with a hat-trick of tries in a majestic Six Nations win

Exeter Chiefs centre Henry Slade, who shone with two tries for England last week, scored England's bonus point try this afternoon to secure back-to-back victories in the Six Nations.

Eddie Jones' men comfortably beat France in an emphatic 44-8 triumph at Twickenham.

The contest was all but over in an action packed opening 40 minutes. Three tries from May and another from Slade gave the hosts a convincing 30-8 lead at the break.

England built on their impressive first-half performance with two more tries in the second. A penalty try was awarded for the hosts which was followed by a clever kick and chase from Owen Farrell who touched down in the corner.

For much of the second half, four Exeter Chiefs players were on the pitch. Slade was joined by Exeter trio Luke Cowan-Dickie, Ben Moon and Jack Nowell who all came off the bench to play their part in the famous win.

Up next, table topping England face Wales in Cardiff.
