A man and two children had to be rescued from a property in Exeter last night after it caught fire.
The emergency services were called to the Cowley area just after 10.30pm after a neighbour spotted smoke coming out of the house.
Fire crews found the property smoked logged and managed to get the three casualties out and an ambulance was called to treat them for smoke inhalation.
Its thought the fire started accidentally in the kitchen.
