Barnstaple man arrested
A man has a serious leg injury sustained in an assault at the scene of a road traffic collision in North Devon.
A silver Vauxhall Astra collided with parked vehicles in Foreland View, Ilfracombe, between 3pm and 4pm, on Wednesday 2 June.
That led to a 31-year-old man from Barnstaple being arrested on suspicion of driving while under the influence of drugs. He's been released, pending further enquiries.
The man with the injured leg had to go to hospital for treatment.
