Hectic weekend for police

Devon and Cornwall Police dealt with several incidents over the weekend.

One case was in Cornwall, where a woman was admitted to hospital after being stabbed at a holiday park near Looe on Friday (17 April) afternoon.

A 43-year-old man from Plymouth was arrested and bailed pending further inquiries.

Two motorbike riders are also in hospital with serious injuries after colliding with a car on the A3052 at Hairpath Hill near Seaton.

The collision occurred on Saturday morning (18 April), and officers are trying to piece together exactly what happened.
