86-year-old airlifted to hospital
A pensioner found unconscious in the middle of an Okehampton road last week remains critically ill in hospital.
The 86-year-old man from Warwickshire sustained serious head injuries in a cycling incident and was airlifted to Derriford hospital where he remains in a critical but stable condition. His next of kin have been informed.
Investigating officers are appealing for any witnesses, anyone with information or relevant dash cam footage are to please come forward, unless they have already been in contact with police at the scene.
Anyone who witnessed the incident and anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101 quoting log 846 of 28 August.
