Safety review at site of fatal road accident

Road safety is being reviewed at the roundabout in Exeter where a 12 year old boy was killed in an accident earlier this year.

Leo Gregory died after being hit by a vehicle on a pedestrian crossing near the Countess Wear Roundabout, in August.

Devon county council says it reviews accident numbers on the roads, and that area does meet the trigger point for further investigation and action.

It says officers are working to find practical and sustainable solutions to the problems identified through accident data.
