Surfers' van stolen in Barnstaple

Keys taken from inside property

A van containing two surfboard, a bike and power tools has been stolen in Barnstaple.

The white Vauxhall Vivaro was taken from a property in Ashleigh Road in the town between 8.30pm and 3.30am overnight on Thursday 17 June into Friday, after the van keys were taken from the address.

One of the surfboard is 6ft 2ins long and red; the other is white and from the Circle One Heritage range. The bike is silver and the power tools are made by DeWalt and Festool.

Police would like to hear from anyone who may have seen any suspicious people in the area at the time or seen any abandoned number plates. They would also like to hear from anyone who has had their number plates stolen.
