One arrested for grievous bodily harm
A teenager has a serious head injury following an assault near a North Devon nightclub.
The 19-year-old was treated in hospital after the incident on Saturday night [12 June] at around 11.30pm.
Another man of the same age, from Bideford, was taken into custody on suspicion of assault causing grievous bodily harm
Emergency services were called to Boutport Street near Rumours Nightclub after a report that a man had been assaulted.
Police say a number of people in the vicinity at the time and they would like anyone who witnessed the assault or has any information which could help with their enquiries to call them on 101 or via email at 101@dc.police.uk quoting crime reference, CR/048537/21.
