Main road closed for seven hours
A serious collision on the main Exeter to Crediton road at Newton St Cyres has left two people badly hurt and one other person with minor injuries.
Two occupants of a black Toyota Aygo, a male and a female, sustained serious injuries in the incident on the A377 at Newton St Cyres on Sunday at around 1.20pm. They were taken to Derriford Hospital.
The driver of a silver VW Caddy was slightly hurt and treated at the scene by the ambulance service.
The road was closed for around seven-and-a-half hours.
