Road closed for several hours
An elderly woman has died after colliding with another car on the A30 near Launceston on Sunday (11 August 2024).
Police were called to the junction near the Plusha Services on the westbound carriageway around 12:40 pm which had to be closed for several hours and reopened just before 11 pm.
The driver of the other vehicle sustained non-life-changing injuries and was taken to hospital.
A 70-year-old local woman died on the scene. Her next of kin have been informed.
