A scheme bringing young offenders in Devon face to face with their victims has won a national quality mark.
The County Council's youth offending team has been using restorative justice to make the young people understand the impact of what they have done, which often leads to them changing their ways.
James McInnes, the councillor responsible for the service, claims that it is also beneficial for the victims.
