Multi-million pound complex is in iconic building that fits in with prime Devon parkland
A multi-million pound new complex for the teaching of animal care has been opened at Bicton College.
It means students will be taught about rearing some of the rarest breeds of farm animals.
Environment Secretary Owen Paterson has formally 'branded' a plaque at the centre. College Principal David Henley says the new centre is 'iconic' and designed to fit in with the prime parkland in East Devon. Animal husbandry has long been earmarked for investment at Bicton.
