Remains believed to be male
A body's been found in a garage in the Whipton area of Exeter following a fire early this morning.
Police say they believe the deceased is a man and that they know who he is. They're now liaising with his family.
The fire was in a block of garages in Westbrook Close around 5 this morning.
The cause isn't known at this stage - and formal identification of the body has yet to take place. The death's being treated as unexplained. Anyone with information is asked to call police on 101, quoting log number 66 of 1 October. Calls cost 15 pence.
