Could GP consultations be carried out online?

The University of Exeter is taking part in a study to find out if replacing face-to-face doctor's visits with telephone or internet consultations would help patients and GPs.


The project will look at the advantages and disadvantages of using technologies such as email or text message instead of an appointment.

The study will take around 2 years.
