Exeter man who absconded to Georgia appears at Old Bailey

Jack Shepherd fled the country before he was convicted of the manslaughter of Charlotte Brown.

He returned from Tbilisi last night after 10 months on the run.

The 31-year old appeared at the Old Bailey and pleaded guilty to breaching bail and absconding before his manslaughter trial.

He's been sentenced to an extra six months in prison on top of the six years he was given for the gross negligence manslaughter of Miss Brown.
