Offenders help create garden in city centre

A disused piece of land in Exeter has been turned into an urban garden, by a group of former offenders.

They undertook the community project to create the garden in King William Street as part of their rehabilitation, working with the Exeter Community Volunteer Service.

The new garden will be part of a wider project by the CVS to set up a well-being hub, offering GP surgeries, an advice centre and learning facilities.
