Following allegations of misconduct
Devon and Cornwall's most senior police officer's been suspended.
In a short statement, the force says Will Kerr’s suspension follows ‘allegations of misconduct’.
It adds that police and crime commissioner Alison Hernandez has referred the matter to the Independent Office for Police Conduct, which is starting an investigation.
Mr. Kerr has been in the top job since the end of last year.
