There are claims that a new retail park in Exeter could create hundreds of jobs.
A planning application has this week been submitted to Exeter City Council for the B&Q site at Sowton Industrial estate.
Big name high street shops are reported to be interested in the new retail development with an opening date of 2017 if it gets the go ahead.
