"We want promotion dearly, so do the supporters," says Exeter manager Paul Tisdale
The grecians, who beat Lincoln 3-1 in the League 2 play-off semi-final, have reached Wembley for the second successive year.
Speaking ahead of this years final at the home of English football, Tisdale says his recent experience at Wembley will give his side a narrow advantage.
"We have been here before, I have the full spectrum of emotions at Wembley," he told the clubs website. "We will take as much of that as we can in our management room and our preparations. But ultimately, the key is making sure the players are just thinking about beating their opposite number and making sure they are at their best."
"We played them (Coventry) in mid winter and they have really developed and progressed since. They look a really good side. There is definitely enough for us to be concerned about, but that's all part of the balance of our motivation going into this game.
"We want promotion dearly, so do the supporters. But we have to win one more game to get to League 1. I'm going to refrain from day dreaming to much because we've got one last game to win."
City play Coventry on bank holiday Monday. The match will be broadcasted live on Sky Sports.
