Exeter man convicted of manslaughter could be extradited from Georgia this week

Jack Shepherd fled the country before his trial.

In his absence, he was convicted of the manslaughter by gross negligence of Charlotte Brown and sentenced to six years in his absence.

The pair were on a date in a speedboat on the River Thames in December 2015, when it crashed.

Jack Shepherd fled to Georgia but handed himself into police in January.
