Recent baaahd weather to blame
Farmers across the south west say they're struggling to shear their sheep because of the recent rainy weather.
Dry weather is needed to cut the wool and not doing so can lead to health problems for the livestock, sometimes even death.
The RSPCA say flystrike can affect sheep who haven't had their wool cut. Flies will lay their eggs on the animal with its eggs then hatching into maggots which then eat the flesh.
Livestock owners say they need three good days of dry weather to be able to carry out the shearing process.
That's not expected anytime soon.
