Four men are due in court today charged with dozens of burglaries, many at business units in East Devon and on the outskirts of Exeter.
The men are accused of carrying out more than 50 burglaries at places including the Exmouth Recycling Centre, Hill Barton Business Park, business units at Exeter Airport, and, more recently, Lords Meadow Industrial Estate in Crediton and Finnimore Industrial Estate in Ottery St Mary.
In most cases the premises were targeted for their safes.
The items taken and damage caused amounted to more than 200 thousand pounds.
Two men from Somerset and two from Plymouth appeared before Exeter magistrates just before Christmas and are due at the city's Crown Court this morning.
