An elderly businessman who died after being stabbed in Bridgwater came from Honiton.
72 year old former Councillor Mike Bithrey was airlifted to hospital after the alleged incident last Thursday, but he died later.
An 83 year old man arrested on suspcion of murder is being treated in hospital. He's under police supervision.
