Bitten by a German shephard
A horse has been left seriously injured after it was attacked by a dog in North Devon.
Police were called just after 2pm on Sunday 7 November to reports that a German shephard-type dog had bitten the horse in Snapper Woods near Shirwell, Barnstaple.
The horse, which was being ridden by a teenager at the time, had to be treated by a vet and will continue to recieve treatment over the coming weeks.
Police are asking anyone who can help identify the dog owner to come forward.
