Work to support small enterprises in mid Devon has been recognised, with an award from the Federation of Small Businesses.
Mid Devon district council's Business Forum - established in 2011 - was judged the best overall scheme to stimulate and encourage the small business community.
The leader of the council Peter Hare Scott welcomed the award but said the real credit should go to the members of the Forum who've kept the project alive - and handed over the trophy to the current Chairman of the Forum, Rhys Roberts.
