A man is in hospital with potentially life-threatening injuries following a serious crash on the A379 near Shaldon, Teignmouth.
Emergency services wwere called to the scene at 5.35pm on Monday 17 March to reports of a collision involving a Red Hyundai i20 and a silver Toyota Yaris.
The 23-year old man was rushed to Derriford Hospital and his next of kin have been made aware.
Three other people sustained minor injuries and were checked over at Torbay Hospital.
The road was closed while emergency services attended the scene, officers thank the public for their patience while the investigation was carried out.
