An Exeter primary school is making a new start today after period of hard work to improve, following a failure to meet OFSTED standards two years ago.
The Walter Daw school was removed from 'special measures' last term after an overhaul of leadership raised the quality of education.
Today it reopens under the new name of the Woodwater Academy.
Much of the progress has been made since the primary became part of the Children First Federation, a group of schools who work together to raise standards.
