Travellers are still at the Sowton Park and Ride.
Devon County Council has taken the decision to close the Sowton Park and Ride for a 2nd day after travellers padlocked themselves in the site.
In a statement, a Devon County Council spokesman said on Tuesday night: “Sowton Park & Ride will remain closed tomorrow, with services operating from Honiton Road Park & Ride.”
The Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital encourage patients to use the park and ride to get to the Wonford site. They've tweeted to say bus services are running from Honiton Road to the hospital instead.
Despite the closure, a number of cars have still parked at the site today (Thursday 7th March).
