Car and lorry collide near Axminister
A pensioner has died in a crash on the A35 near Axminster.
The man in his seventies was in a Citroen C3 which will in collision with a heavy goods vehicle near the junction with the A358 at around 1.40pm on Thursday.
He died at the scene. His next of kin have been informed and are being supported by police.
The road was closed while an investigation was carried out, which took around nine hours.
