A man fled with cash and tobacco products
Police are appealing for information after a knifepoint robbery in Ilfracombe last night.
It happened at the Premier Express store on the promenade at around 8pm when a man - dressed in dark clothing and a hoodie, with his face covered - threatened a shop worker.
He fled with cash and tobacco products, leaving the cashier “unhurt but very shaken”, police say.
Officers are appealing for anyone who can help identify the man, and nearby shop owners who may have CCTV footage, to come forward.
Those with information should call 101 or email 101@dc.police.uk, quoting crime reference number CR/037314/19
