The incident reportedly took place in the early hours of Saturday morning
Police are appealing for witnesses and information following reports of criminal damage in Torquay.
The incident was reported to have taken place between 00.30am and 01.30am on Saturday 18 May on Palk Street.
It was reported that damage was caused to the wing mirrors of a number of parked cars.
A 22-year-old man from Torquay was arrested on suspicion of criminal damage and taken into police custody. He was later released under investigation pending further enquiries.
Police are appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident and anyone with information to contact police on 101 quoting CR/043620/19.
