A picture has been released following an incident in the town in July.
Police wish to identify the man in the picture.
Just after midnight on Saturday the 31st of July, police received reports of a disturbance between four men on Regent Street.
A 33-year-old local man sustained a significant injury to the stomach and was taken to hospital where he later required surgery.
A 24-year-old man was later arrested in connection with this incident and has been bailed until the 23rd of November.
