24-year-old Miley Connors reportedly fled Channings Wood prison in Newton Abbot this morning
Police are seeking the public's help to find a man who's escaped from Channings Wood prison in Newton Abbot this morning.
24-year-old Miley Connors is reported to have fled the prison at around 8.50am
He's currently serving an eight-year sentence for burglary.
He was last seen wearing a grey sweatshirt and blue jeans/trousers. He's described as white, around 5ft 10" and has an Irish accent.
Police say it's believed that after leaving the prison, Connors fled in a vehicle which contained three other occupants. The vehicle has since been located and recovered by officers.
Anyone who sees this man is asked not to approach him and to call 999 immediately, quoting log 173 of Monday 8 April
