Extra weekend police patrols are taking place in Crediton to tackle a spate of drink and drug abuse by teenagers, on a piece of land known as the Crash site.
Nitrous oxide canisters, shotgun cartridges, alcohol containers and drug paraphernalia have been found in woodland near the Lords Meadow Industrial Estate.
Police say they'll be leafleting schools and using social media to try and raise awareness of the dangers - warning that nitrous oxide, in particular, can be deadly
