The phone company O2 is trying to find out why a Honiton man who was expecting a new mobile handset in the post instead received a sponge and a tin of sardines.
23 year old Greg Cundill took the delivery from the courier firm UK Mail and said the packaging looked normal and hadn't been tampered with.
But instead of a new Samsung handset he's been left with a washing-up sponge and a tin of fish he doesn't even like eating.
O2 has confirmed that it's investigating.
