Police are investigating an attempted murder in Crediton.
A 35 year old local man is in hospital with neck and facial injuries after an incident in an alleyway at the Burrowe in the early hours of Saturday morning.
Two 18 year old men from Crediton and a 25 year old from Exeter have been arrested and released on police bail.
Police are appealing for witnesses, or anyone with information about the incident, to get in touch.
