Police are appealing for anyone, who attended a surfers ball at a night club in North Devon in the summer and witnessed a serious assault, to come forward.
The attack happened in Woolacombe in the early hours of Monday 26th August.
A man in his twenties was struck in the head after leaving the Marisco Club in Barton Road. He lost consciousness and was taken to hospital.
