Exeter’s array of standout workplaces revealed

The Space Awards celebrates the best companies in Exeter

The Space Awards, in partnership with Exeter City Council and Exeter Chamber, have been backed by a host of sponsors and supporters including Nettl, Stephens Scown LLP, Sampson Hall Ltd and Grow Exeter.

Tim Wadsworth, Director of Exeter-based office transformation specialists Space, who are running the awards, said: “After the brilliant response to last year’s awards, we’re really excited to discover even more fantastic workspaces and work initiatives across Exeter. It’s wonderful to see that companies understand that a great workspace results in a happier and more productive workforce, which helps to attract and retain the very best talent.

“This year’s standard of entries was incredibly high, and came from a wide range of organisations, from smaller one-person companies right through to national brands. Congratulations to those who made the shortlist, and well done to all who entered. It’s really encouraging to see such positive strides being made in the workplace.”

The judging panel included Sally Basker, Chief Executive of Exeter Science Park, Jo Caine, Co-Owner of Cathedral Appointments and Exeter Chamber Director, Tim Wadsworth, Director of Space, Julie Hawker, joint CEO of Cosmic, Robert Chalk, Managing Director of Chalk and Ward, Victoria Hatfield, Growth and Commercialisation Manager of Exeter City Council and Marie Turner, Group Facilities Manager of Livewest.
