Woman's dog scares suspect off
Police are investigating a report that a man tried to grab a jogger as she was out running on the Butterfly Trail at Haldon Forest on Monday morning [30 March].
They are appealing for information, after the incident in the Bullers Hill area at around 11am.
The victim’s dog scared the suspect off and the motive for the attack is unclear.
The suspect is described as a white male, aged in his late 20s or early 30s, who was wearing a blue jumper with a white top underneath, jeans and a black bobble-type hat.
Police would like to hear from anyone who may have been in the area at the time or has information relating to the incident.
