Local residents have until the end of this week to respond to the public consultation on controversial cuts to Devon and Somerset's fire service.
The deadline's been extended from today until Friday.
Fire chiefs have drawn up the proposals in response to a funding shortfall of five and a half million pounds over the next two years.
They include scaled-down crewing arrangements in other parts of Devon ... which managers say they're confident will not put public safety at risk.
