Police need witnesses
Police investigating reports of a burglary from an agricultural building in Burlescombe, near Tiverton, are appealing for any witnesses to come forward.
Officers were called to reports of a suspicious van seen near a farm shed next to St Mary’s Church, Burlescombe, at around 5.40 pm on Saturday 11 March.
The van is believed to have been a Ford Transit long panel van with a 70 number plate and van hire insignia on the side in blue writing.
It is thought that entry was forced into the property, and a generator valued at around £300 was taken.
The suspect is described as a white man, aged in his mid-20s and wearing a light grey tracksuit.
